Recycle Bags | Cloth Recycle Bags Fail Compared to Mesh

by Why Recycle

Recycle Bags – There are currently a variety of recycle bags on the market. One quite popular bag is the cloth grocery bag. These large shopping bags have their uses, but they don't compare to mesh bags.

Like a cloth grocery bag, mesh recycle bags are 100 percent washable. However, depending on what material the cloth bag is made of, it can shrink. Mesh bags are designed not to shrink. In addition, cloth bags made out of lighter fabrics are more prone to tearing and stains. In other words, you can wash them but that does not mean they will come out looking like new. Mesh bags have less surface area, which translates into less cloth to stain. They can be thrown into a washer with just about any load and emerge fresh and ready to use again.

Mesh bags are designed to dispense weight evenly. Some bags can hold several 2-liter bottles of soda and distribute the weight in a manner than makes it feel less heavy than if the bottles where in a cloth grocery bag. Because of this trait, the mesh bag can hold more weight for repeated uses without causing structural damage to the bag.

Unlike cloth grocery bags, mesh bags are lightweight and easy to store. A mesh bag is designed to crush into a small ball to be tucked away someplace unseen. A consumer can hide several mesh recycle bags in a purse without taking up too much space. Cloth grocery bags, on the other hand, are bulky and not easy to hide. One cloth bag takes up more space than three mesh bags of the equivalent size.

Some reusable shopping bag products, such as the Ityse Shopping System are designed to hold several mesh shopping bags in a fashionable way. In addition, Ityse's mesh bags are made with reinforced handles and seams so they last longer.
